A Dream Under Siege! An Angel Fighting Back!
Good morning Vehorn Connections and Harrison Hope Friends! Almost 3 weeks ago I published the first notice of Janet's massive, left hemispheric stroke. She has now spent 3 full weeks in the Life Rehabilitation Unit, East London (South Africa). Even though she has not recovered her speech function she has made encouraging gains...movement in all limbs, first steps without assistance or devices, helping to dress herself, feeding herself better, drinking a cup of coffee unassisted, wrapping her arms around visiting friends, and even writing her first numbers and letters. The most frustrating barrier is the loss of speech and some cognition. The Harrison Hope Broken Angel Chardonnay has been bottled at the estate and we await the new design in honour of Janet. Even though this fragile dream rising from the Eastern Cape's first wine estate (www.harrisonhope.com) is under siege HOPE continues to glimmer. Your support has been a huge encouragement to the HH family. Please go the journey back to joy with us! Follow the progress and jump in on Janet's recovery webpage, https://gfwd.at/1e67d44. At HH we say "If you let dreams die, you darken the future!" Reinforce the HH dream; add force to the Broken Angel battle. Thanks and stay LinkedIn. Ronnie
