A Dream, a Quote, and a Journey to Ikigai: Becoming the Change

Imagine a young girl, sitting in a high school classroom, her mind buzzing with Mahatma Gandhi's powerful words: "Be the change you wish to see in the world." Those words resonated deep within her soul, igniting a desire to make a difference, to leave her mark on the world. But how? How could she, a seemingly ordinary girl, become that change?

Years passed, filled with searching and exploration. Then, one night, a vivid dream transported her to the United Nations, where she stood before a captivated audience, delivering a powerful speech about the urgent need for global cooperation and sustainability. The dream was so real, so compelling, that she couldn't shake it off. It became a beacon, guiding her towards an unknown destination.

Driven by this dream, she embarked on a parallel path alongside her flourishing business career. She immersed herself in the world of the United Nations, attending UN school, absorbing reports and resolutions, and seeking to understand how she could contribute to its mission.

Along the way, she stumbled upon the concept of Ikigai, the Japanese philosophy of finding one's "reason for being." It felt like a missing puzzle piece, a framework for aligning her passions, skills, and values with the world's needs.

But the path wasn't linear. It took years of introspection, experimentation, and even a few detours before her Ikigai truly crystallized. It wasn't until she founded her first company, VATI of Sweden that the pieces finally fell into place. She realized that her dream of working with the United Nations could be manifested through her passion for sustainability and her natural ability to learn and teach.

And so, the Certified Sustainability Manager course was born. This signature program empowers individuals to become agents of change, equipping them with the knowledge and tools to help businesses embrace sustainability and contribute to a better world.

This is my story.

It's a story of a dream that wouldn't fade, a quote that fueled my soul, and a journey of self-discovery through Ikigai. It's a testament to the power of perseverance, the importance of aligning your work with your values, and the transformative potential that lies within each of us. It's a story about how to Dream it, Plan it, Achieve it.
