Dream needs a team part 2

In part 1 we covered two traits to look for in the people you are onboarding when you are starting your venture

1) They should have a desire to grow

2) They should have a diehard spirit to bring results

3) The should have Influencing ability

This is a very complicated topic, becoming influential needs many attributes, I have found this sequence in all influential people

The cycle of Influence:

An influencer is passionate about his/her mission and passion attracts people, but passion comes with vision, and vision is not enough If he/she cannot communicate his vision

In a nutshell: Passion comes from the mission which comes from vision and vision needs to be communicated; that's what creates influence.

Let me explain to you through my personal experience: I started my venture in 2008.

I was clear that through this venture, I can impact the world, and can create a revolution.

I can help many people get control of their lives in their hands, and they won't be at the mercy of a job. I was able to see that I can help many couples collaborate to live happily through a common goal, which in turn will bring more fulfillment in their marriage. I was able to see that through my venture, I can bring a ray of hope in many families, I could see that their retirement will be smooth, but was it enough?

A big no, because I didn't know how to communicate, so it means even if I have the best opportunity in the world and I don't know how to describe it adequately I can't become an influencer.

Passion without communication skill is like a coke bottle which spills of when you open, and that sort of excitement only waste the coke, and I was not able to transform this Passion to a team, so I learned communication skills through a lot of books and public speaking workshops and developed my influencing ability.

4) They should be able to differentiate between Love and Respect

Stay with me for a minute, this will blow your mind, There is a vast difference between love and respect, Team can love you because of your serving attitude or your good behavior but Team will respect you, only and only if you can bring results during tough moments, it means love can be given, but respect needs to be earned.

Why is it important by the way? Very simple, because if people love you that doesn't assure you that they will listen to you, but if they respect you and don't like you, still they will listen to you, why? Because your producing ability inspires them.

That's why earning respect is not easy, and those who understand this don't demand, and they earn it.
