Dream Big: It Is Not Over Until You Win
“Now look at me. Quitting? That’s not in my vocabulary. When they quit, I keep going. When they sleep, I work harder. When they say that I can’t and count me out, I show them that I can. When I tell them about my dreams and they laugh, I make sure I laugh last. I AM A DREAM CHASER. That means I chase my dream and no one else’s, only I can defeat me” [1]
Dreams. Dreams are not created equal. Each of us has a unique set of dreams and a possibility of them becoming true, makes life interesting. A DREAM is a START. It is a dot with which all phenomenal companies, ideas and ventures began. ALL BEGIN WITH A DREAM.
“The power for creating a better future is contained in the present moment: You create a good future by creating a good present.” (Eckhart Tolle)
You must live and enjoy your dream life today, not tomorrow, nor someday in the future. Your dream life starts in the present. Today. Now.
When you got a dream, surf on it’s wave, and when it becomes a continuing inner voice in your heart, this is the time to start implementing it into the big world. Remember: YOUR HEART KNOWS WHAT IT WANTS.
There is no dream too small or too big. All dreams have a powerful source that feeds them to become your truth. It is your unstoppable desire to make a difference.
You must not give up on your dream, you must know that your dream is as possible as Warren Buffett’s, Steve Jobs’, Henry Ford’s or Bill Gates’. YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM THEM.
You got to follow your own dreams like they did. Don’t get trapped in fear of failure, don’t get trapped in other people’s opinion- when they say – it will not work. A lot of people try to mitigate their mediocrity by convincing you of your unworthiness. You should never support mediocrity- you have the freedom to create your personal experience. Don’t you ever think that your dream is crazy or weird!
Sure you will experience a lot of fear. Be prepared, as it will even paralyze you, paralyze your well-being.
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?' Actually, WHO ARE YOU NOT TO BE? Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.” [3]
Fear is always the effect of wrong thoughts in some direction. It is an indication that you are out of harmony with yourself, with your heart. Memorize: your fearful and dark times will lead to the brightest moments of your life.
Dreams are part of our lives, if you have been enlightened with your dream, don’t settle, go and achieve it. Listen to your heart: in a quiet room, with no noise. Your heart will tell you what your dreams are; what makes it happy; what will make your life exciting and what will leave the boredom behind. And will bring the love for what you do, the happiness into your existence.
Always know, when a dream comes into your life, there was a reason for it. You have to trust that against all the odds, eventually it all will make sense, and it all will have clarity. YOU MUST HAVE FAITH.
“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” (Steve Jobs)
I am not implying that all will be achieved with ease and effortlessly. It will be hard, and it takes courage to act. When you are defeated, it takes bravery to start over again. And that’s what Steve Jobs meant when he said “STAY FOOLISH, STAY HUNGRY” [4]. Stay hungry for your dreams, and stay foolish towards the multiplicity of paralyzing failures.
“Learn from each and everyone one of your mistakes. Don’t quit, don’t give up. Listen to me, don’t quit, don’t give up – if it gets hard you tie a knot around yourself, you double tie it if you have to, but you hold on to your dream.” (Eric Thomas)
Some days you will feel like it is over. But that happens right before, right before, I want to repeat – before your dream becomes the force that will wave you forward and carry you along. And it’s totally up to you to demonstrate your surfing skills and ride the wave.
You have the power of your mind, to change anything, to switch it over from negative to positive, it is not about how things are, but it is about how YOUR thoughts on how they are. “Good thoughts and actions can never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results.”[5]
If you think it is over, it is most likely over. For you. In your mind. Your dream needs your spirit, your full potential to lift it up, and to take it to the next level. To bring it in the world. You have that ability! Always! The source of it, is your mind.
The first thing you have to do, is to take the first step. Just do it. Now.
Believe me, your dreams have the power to touch many lives, you will be proud of yourself!
I dare you to take the first step!
I dare you to take the leadership position in your life!
I dare you to take the full responsibility of what is coming upon you: your dreams: small or big, your health, your family and friends, your career and business!
Don’t hesitate a single second. Just do it. YOU CAN LIVE YOUR DREAM!
P.S.
If you say “I can’t do it”- let me assure you- you most certainly can’t. If you say- “I have no dream”… well… - enjoy your existence… Everyone else - LET'S GO- “great climbers need big mountains to climb!” [6] Let's challenge ourselves today and tomorrow, again and again - always!

Nice post Yulia Sopina!! I like the statement "...the world is not served by our thinking small" or something like that. So true! We do have to manage our own dreams and expectations as well as what others think of them. Dreams can be extinguished from within and without! Keep dreaming BIG!!:)
