DCA and partners recently concluded a ‘Dragon’s Den’ process, aimed to encourage and support young entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas that can address social and environmental issues and contribute to economic growth. The challenge – part of the Udenrigsministeriet #Danida funded Ajira Poa! project?- started in January 2024 and had four stages. ?
The challenge provided a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business ideas and receive feedback and guidance from industry experts and mentors. It also promoted entrepreneurship among young people and inspire them to become change-makers and leaders in their communities.?
The competition culminated in an awards ceremony on 27th March 2024, where 24 businesses owned by youth in Nakuru and Nyandarua were awarded a total
The winners will also receive guidance and mentorship from industry experts and mentors to develop their business ideas further.?
