Very helpful parable Chris! The dragon slayers are recognised and promoted, and those who worked hard to manage risk and do things properly lack attention and promotion. I suppose sharing stories like this is one good way of making people aware of this. Sometime people I mentor are brilliant farmers and need encouragement to 'blow their own horn' a bit more, so that executives are aware. What other ways have you found to overcome this?
