One such technology is #pumpedstorage projects (PSPs), which are domestically available, timetested, and internationally accepted.They are clean, green, safe, and non-explosive, and do not produce any harmful by-products or pose disposal problems.

NTPC Limited has declared the successful commissioning of third part capacity of 50 MW out of 300 MW of Nokhra Solar PV Project at Bikaner, Rajasthan.With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 58979 MW & 58319 MW respectively, while group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC will become 71594 MW & 70934 MW respectively.

The Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) has announced a tender for the installation and commissioning of 11.5 MW of grid-connected #solarpower projects in the Bhiwani and Hisar districts of Haryana. The bidder will also have to take responsibility for the project’s operation and maintenance for five years, which can be extended for another five years.
