DR. RICHARD GEIST DOES NOT HAVE ANY BOUNDARIES
Let's talk about dual relationships, shall we? A dual relationship in therapy occurs when a therapist and their patient have a second, different relationship in addition to the traditional therapist-client bond. These relationships can be concurrent or sequential, and can be sexual or nonsexual.
Let's take a first hand look at all the dual relationships Dr. Richard Geist had.
First he was my psychologist. Then he becomes the psychologist for my other unethical psychologist who was having sex with me (Dr. James Barbaria) and abusive to me. Now because of putting himself in this role he can NO LONGER PROTECT ME, because he has to protect Dr. James Barbaria as well, even though Dr. James Barbaria is "DOING HARM" (having sex and physically/verbally/emotionally abusive) to me, in other words -UNETHICAL!
Second, Dr. Geist decides that he will be put himself in a THIRD ROLE "Couples Counselor" As a "couples counselor" he must try to do what is best for the unethical, immoral and abusive relationship!!!
The boundaries have become so blurred that I turn into an alcoholic and feel like the BOTH of them have "ganged up on me" - Dr. Geist knew that Dr. Barbaria was hurting me, but still kept up the fa?ade of the "couple's counselor" I wanted to take Dr. James Barbaria to the licensing board but Dr. Richard Geist did everything in his power to stop me - because he was protecting his OTHER PATIENT - Dr. James Barbaria.
BUT WHO WAS PROTECTING ME???????????? NO ONE!
