“?Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Award” an award constituted after the name of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, who was Independent India's first law minister and the principal architect of the Constitution of India. The Award function started with the Inaugural Speech by the Railway Minister of India, Mr. Suresh Prabhu. The award is presented to those who have performed extra ordinary in their respective field of work. The prestigious award was also bestowed upon Dr. ALOK SATSANGI, Director, Asian School of Media Studies, in the Media Education Category. Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Award – 2016 was organized on Monday, 28th November 2016 at the Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi.
