Downtime During the Pandemic

What to do with the best opportunity most of us will ever have, extra time. Either connecting with our family and children or reinventing how we do business. Lets talk about the business side of things. Start thinking about developing new services and procedures. Perhaps your company can discover more online measures. Encourage your employees to come up with new implementations or create positive change in parts of your business. Try to look at this as a solution instead of a hindrance. A company we photographed years ago asked each employee to come up with a way that they could improve the process to be 100% efficient. The employer was not looking for 100% improvement, but they did achieve solutions that produced a 23% increase. Now if you would have asked the employees to find ideas to make the process 10% better, would you have a end result or increase of 10-23%?

We decided to implement a photo safari each week here at the studio. Travel to spots unknown or seldom visited. Expand our knowledge of the twin Cities for client backgrounds or photo locations. Our first stop Swing Bridge Park in Inver Grove Heights MN. We photographed the bridge and park area. We were just about to leave when Rod noticed a heli and birds flying in the sky. He raised his camera and waited for the shot. Thinking on this image rod replied "if man could come up with a way to fly, surly we can come up with a vaccine to kill off this little virus."

Things are difficult right now, but the future is promising. Take the time today to encourage this new chapter of your life.
