What happened this week

A dramatic increase in the number of properties scheduled for auction (such volume has not seen seen since June 2022), has not dampened the preliminary clearance rate for Sydney. Compared to the previous week's effort of 661 properties, this week saw over 800 properties scheduled to be sold by the Auction method.

It would appear that confidence is beginning to return to not only the market in general, but also in Auctions as the method of choice for homesellers.
