Downsize, Declutter and Renew
Downsize:
When I say downsize, I’m not talking about moving to a smaller house or lowering your standard of life. My wife and I embarked on a healthy lifestyle a couple of years ago and I lost over 35 lbs. So I literally downsized my body weight and it feels so good.
Most of us carry extra baggage in our body and in our mind and that wears us down. It’s important to get rid of that extra baggage so that we have more freedom to think and act in favor of our dreams.
Declutter:
After my weight loss, I realized that none of my clothes fit anymore. My shirt size went down from XL to M and my pants size changed from 38 to 32. So I ended up getting rid of all my old big clothes. (pic)
It’s important to declutter our mind periodically. Just like we chose to avoid unhealthy foods, we need to get rid of the old unhealthy habits and thoughts that cause havoc in our life.?
Renew:
I had to buy new clothes and renew my wardrobe.?
We need to replace our old, unhealthy habits and thoughts with new, fresh, and healthy habits and thoughts. We cannot leave our mind unattended. If we do, the old habits will come back. We need to intentionally renew our mind with new thoughts and habits that help us to pursue our dreams and to make our lives better.

3 年No, I didn't replace all 60+ shirts with new ones. I just bought a few. Once we declutter we don't want to clutter it back again. We need to focus on "One thing" at a time to get things done.
