Downloading Your LinkedIn Connections in 5 Easy Steps

One of the most common questions I receive regarding LinkedIn is how to easily download contacts.

This article will walk you through the process step-by-step.

1. Open your LinkedIn profile and click on the small arrow under your picture on the LinkedIn banner.

2. Select and open "Settings and Privacy" from the dropdown options.

3. Select "Privacy" from the toolbar.

4. Scroll to the section called, "How LinkedIn uses your data" and open, "download your data."

5. I recommend selecting "pick and choose," and then place a checkmark in the "Connections" box.

That's it! LinkedIn will send you an email with all of your connections that can be sorted as you wish.

I download my list of connections every six months and sort in an Excel spreadsheet.
