Here's the template: Productivity Planner 2020 1Q
Now if you want to know how it works, I recommend you read the whole post
Since last year, I have been working hard on how to improve my productivity. Trying tools like Asana, Trello, written planners and using the Pomodoro technique ... I realized that I had to do an excel that allows me to control my time according to each objective and rate my performance both weekly and monthly.
That's why I developed this productivity planner that not only led me to increase my productivity by 47%, but also to identify what tasks cost me the most work to complete and finish the most important tasks before 12 pm.
This is how it works:
- Choose your most important and urgent task, the one for which you cannot end your day.
- Choose two tasks, the most urgent and the most important.
- Choose three tasks that you cannot delegate but must be finished no later than the day after tomorrow.
- Determine the number of Pomodoros (25 min) that you think will take you to complete each task.
- This number will subtract the accumulated Pomodoros from all tasks so that you know how much time you have left in a 7-hour day
- When you finish your task, point out the Pomodoros that really took you to finish it.
- Rate your performance from 1 to 10, if you used an extra Pomodoro you can no longer get 10 because you did not know how to determine the delivery time (learn to be efficient).
- The rest of your rating will depend a little on your subjectivity so be honest.
- At the end of the month, you will get an average rating of all your days.
There is also a space that I personally use to make special notes of the accounts that I manage, so the next day I make sure to review the previous one and that my goals have logic.
- I also added a sheet for you to set weekly goals and a review.
This tool is the hybrid of many others that I have used and bought, I hope you find it as useful as me.
