I have to admit - I fell off the band wagon!

Before we start - I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Years break with your families!

A family holiday over the Xmas / News Years break and I’m only just getting back into the swing of things now.

So What’s Happening??

Errr…everything?

A 2 week cruise to Canaries over Xmas, making memories with my young family - riding camels in Lanzarote, visiting friends in Spain type stuff.

Why do I like cruises? Because I literally have no internet for most of the time. Sounds ironic, but I literally can’t check emails or respond to messages. It tests whether or not I have a true business and whether the team can run without me.

We had a couple of hiccups, all solvable - but it wasn’t as efficient as I would have like. That being said, we had upgrades and a full on refurbishment also going on at the same time, which actually went pretty smooth, but all came down to preparation beforehand and good communication throughout.

So what am I doing? Spending Q1 2024 launching the lettings arm of the business (finally) - Alt Street Lettings Ltd and will be hammering our systems and processes to ensure our team is all over everything. Starting with maintenance.

My word for 2024 is “hands-off” - to have the business run with minimal input from me so that I can focus on growth and building the pipeline.
