Dove's Campaign for Real Beauty
Dove hired third-party researchers to conduct a global study that surveyed 3,200 women to provide insights about what “beautiful” means to them. “The Real Truth About Beauty — A Global Report” revealed that only two percent of women worldwide considered themselves to be beautiful.
There was a need for a voice in the beauty industry to encourage women to feel beautiful in their own skin. That’s where Dove came in.
