Tania Kovats: SEAMARKS

Until 2 November | Mon - Fri 12:00 - 15:00, Sat & Sun 10:00 - 17:00 | Free admission.

There's only 3 weeks left of this beautiful exhibition, closing 2 November - not to be missed!

Tania Kovats' ongoing series SEAMARKS, featuring multiple seascapes across many different mediums, has been expanded with the creation of a beautiful new tapestry by Dovecot Studios. Kovats presents the passing of time through the depiction of the broken surface of the sea and the meditative qualities of weaving.

The artist has been collaborating closely with Dovecot's Master Weavers since January to create and interpret her tapestry design. The 1.5m squared tapestry is on display on our Tapestry Studio Viewing Balcony, along with some of Kovats other works in paint, pencil, and tile, which explore how art can speak to our critical climate emergency.
