Today's devotional is from What Would Jesus Ask You Today?

"Why did you doubt?" - Matthew 14:31

God has been faithful to you throughout your life, and you have no reason to believe that will change. Yet it's so easy to doubt when things don't go as planned or when answers to problems are not forthcoming. What's more, God is seldom early but He's always on time, which can cause you to doubt along the way for His timetable is not always in sync with your expectations. Are you living in doubt or faith? Are you asking and acting in faith, or holding back because you don't want to be disappointed?

Read what James said in James 1:5-8 about asking for and receiving wisdom and apply that principle to your life in as many areas as possible. When you ask for wisdom, don't doubt that God will send it.
