The Shell V-Power Racing Team headed to Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix.

The weekend was headlined by Will Davison claiming two pole positions, three front-row starts and two podium finishes.

RACE 6 RECAP
Anton De Pasquale qualified for Race 6 in P2 and teammate Will Davison qualified in P4. De Pasquale and Davison both started the 20-lap race with the Dunlop Hard tyre compound, opting to take the Soft tyre compound during their compulsory pit stop.
In the opening lap after a good start by both De Pasquale and Davison, Mostert passed De Pasquale for P2, while Davison battled with Percat and Jones, before dropping to P5 behind Percat. Percat was also able to get by De Pasquale on lap 2 for P3.
Davison stopped for his compulsory pit stop on lap 4 for the Soft tyre compound. De Pasquale came in just behind Davison on lap 5 for his compulsory pit stop. After all the compulsory pit stops were completed, De Pasquale sat in P1 and Davison in P2.
Mostert was able to get past Davison on lap 12 and then De Pasquale on lap 14. De Pasquale had a punctured left front tyre causing him to run wide on lap 17 and subsequently making it back to the pit lane slowly for another set of tyres. De Pasquale rejoined the race in P23.
Davison also experienced tyre wear and had to stop for another set of tyres as well on lap 17. Davison rejoined the race in P17. At the end of Race 6, De Pasquale finished in P23 and Davison in P17.

RACE 7 RECAP
Anton De Pasquale started Race 7 from P5 and Will Davison from P1, pole position. Both De Pasquale and Davison started the race on the Dunlop Soft tyre compound. Davison had a great start and maintained his lead, while De Pasquale also had a great start gaining a position to P4 as he received a bump by Feeny at Turn 1.
van Gisbergen passed Reynolds for P2 on lap 1 and was gaining ground on Davison. Davison was able to hold him off until lap 2, before conceding the position.
The Safety Car was deployed on lap 5 after Heimgartner hit the wall at the final corner. Davison and De Pasquale had to double stack for their compulsory pit stop. Davison rejoined the field in P3, while De Pasquale dropped down to P20. Race 7 resumed under green flag conditions on lap 7.
Mostert passed Davison on lap 9 before Davison was spun around by Waters then landed in the gravel trap on lap 10 causing a Safety Car.
Davison was retrieved and returned to the track before coming in for a pit stop for another set of tyres. Waters received a pit lane drive-through penalty for the incident with Davison.
De Pasquale had an incident with Percat on lap 11, which was referred to the stewards for a post-race investigation. De Pasquale was able to pass Jones for P13 on lap 19 and on the final lap, he passed Fullwood for P12.

De Pasquale finished the race in P10 before the post-race investigation was complete, after review, De Pasquale received a 15-second time penalty for a driving infringement with Percat, dropping him to P20. Davison finished Race 7 in P24.

RACE 8 RECAP
Anton De Pasquale and Will Davison had a front-row lockout for Race 8, with De Pasquale starting from P1 and Davison from P2. De Pasquale and Davison started on the Dunlop Soft tyre and had a great start retaining their positions, while Reynolds was able to pass van Gisbergen for P3.
De Pasquale had a lock-up on lap 3 causing some slight damage to his front right tyre.
Davison was the first Shell V-Power Mustang to come in for his compulsory pit stop on lap 5 for the Dunlop Hard tyres. De Pasquale came in for his compulsory pit stop one lap later for the Hard tyre compound also.
Reynolds came in for his pit stop on lap 7 and rejoined behind Davison and in front of De Pasquale. De Pasquale was able to pass Reynolds on cold tyres just after Turn 2. van Gisbergen came in for his pit stop on lap 8 and rejoined behind Davison and in front of De Pasquale.
De Pasquale went down the inside of van Gisbergen before being pushed wide, ultimately dropping him from P3 to P4. At the conclusion of Race 8, De Pasquale finished in P4 and Davison in P2.
RACE 9 RECAP
Anton De Pasquale and Will Davison started Race 9 from the front row of the grid, Davison in P1 and De Pasquale in P2. Both cars also started on the Dunlop Soft tyre compound. De Pasquale and Davison both had a great start, retaining their starting positions on the opening lap, while Mostert was able to jump into P3.
The Safety Car was deployed on the opening lap for Jack Smith who was stopped on the front straight. The car was quickly removed and the race restarted on lap 2.
De Pasquale was the first Shell V-Power Mustang to come in for his compulsory pit stop on lap 5. De Pasquale stopped for his Dunlop Hard tyre compound.
Davison came in one lap after De Pasquale for his Dunlop Hard tyres. Davison rejoined the race in front of De Pasquale, becoming the effective leader of the race. van Gisbergen came in one lap later on lap 7 for his pit stop. van Gisbergen rejoined in front of both Shell V-Power Racing Team Ford Mustangs. ?At the conclusion of all compulsory pit stops, De Pasquale sits in P4 and Davison in P3.
van Gisbergen suffered a front left tyre lock-up and was forced to make another pit stop on the penultimate lap, jumping Davison and De Pasquale into P2 and P3 respectively.
Race 9 finished with a double podium for the Shell V-Power Racing Team, De Pasquale in P3 and Davison in P2.
At the end of Round 3 of the Championship, Anton De Pasquale and Will Davison sit P2 and P4 respectively in the Driver’s Championship. The Shell V-Power Racing Team sit P2 in the Team’s Championship.
