Double Deal for Dortech!

Dortech Architectural Systems, the leading provider of high quality window, door and curtain walling solutions, have been appointed by Tilbury Douglas to deliver the glazing on their Sandilands and Laurus Grace school projects.

The Sandilands project will be delivered over two phases. Phase one is to construct a two-storey building to provide teaching spaces, a dining hall and offices, allowing a capacity for over 400 students. Phase two involves the demolition of the existing school

Laurus Grace is a new school catering for special educational needs is to be built in Hazel Grove so that more children with additional needs will be able to attend lessons closer to their homes.

The school will be named Laurus Grace and built on the current site of Hazel Grove High school off Jacksons Lane. The proposal put forward by the Department for Education and Tilbury Douglas Construction Ltd is for a two storey building with seven SEN classrooms and 10 general use classrooms.

On both projects Dortech will be delivering triple glazed windows to meet the low U-value requirements of the scheme, whilst also providing maximum daylight and free air.
