dot, dot, dot, dash Beethoven's 5th

Here's an idea from the BBC in WWII. BBC during the bombing raids of WWII radio broadcasts started with the first five notes of Beethoven’s Fifth, “da da da dum,” which in Morse code means “V” for Victory. In our case, it could be it means we are behind all the efforts to contain, control and defeat Covid-19 ... and the next virus down the pike. "V".

How about our radio and t.v. newscasters begin every news hour with those 5 notes?

You know, when some of us older folks were kids there was a the Conelrad Alert, which later became the Emergency Broadcast System. All radio stations periodically had to broadcast a short message alerting the audience that in the event of an emergency all broadcast stations would switch to a single frequency. Part of the reason to have all radio stations broadcasting on the same frequency was so that enemy bombers couldn't locate one city or area over another based on honing in on that area's radio tower. Well, if it was good enough for the cold war, how about this war on Covid- 19 and the message, instead of death statistics, could be a message of unity and hope. Anything wrong with that?
