DOSH & CISRS (UK) Scaffolding Certification for Malaysia
PERI Malaysia can provide Scaffolding training at our 11 meter high, fully covered scaffolding training centre at Jenjarom in Selangor for both the Malaysian DOSH Certification and the UK CISRS International OSTS Certification. As the tube and coupler structures within the Basic courses are the same, these being an Independent, a free standing Tower & the Birdcage, this enables delegates to complete the practical syllabus of the OSTS level 1 during the 10 day DOSH program with the additional health and safety training for working at height. The DOSH Modular and system scaffold training along with the assessment can completed in the remaining 5 days to meet the requirements within the DOSH syllabus. For those that are already certified DOSH scaffolders the UK CISRS certification can be achieved in just five days.
PERI Malaysia offers CISRS scaffolding inspection certification, that complies with FMA (BOWAC 1986) This training follows the NASC technical guidance for EN12811 (Identical to Malaysian Standards MS1462) and provides a CISRS basic inspection certificate, the course provides training on how to make a full inspection of basic scaffolds to comply with best practice, and how to complete a written report. At this time Scaffold Inspection training is not covered in Malaysia under the DOSH syllabus to ensure Scaffolders have suitable skills and knowledge, but rely on the employer to appoint the designated person.
PERI Malaysia also provides the (UK) CISRS Scaffold supervisor training to ensure site safety is managed by a trained person and all Scaffolding works can be managed, planned and controlled safely throughout all phases of construction and dismantling of Scaffolding. This course provides training for the correct use of risk assessments, Method statements and delivering toolbox talks to the work force as well as ensuring site supervision is compliant with local legislation and the United Kingdoms working at height regulations along with a good understanding of best practice guidance TG20:13 and how to use Compliance sheets
All Scaffolder training is conducted in small groups (currently 9) to ensure all participants take part in the training and fully understand how to complete tasks safely and correctly. This reduces the likeliness of incidents and improves staff productivity. We would be very happy to talk about how you can sign up to our training.
