Read about the company. Learn about the people who will interview you?and?the company you are applying to. Every company wants to listen to you talk about the projects and general knowledge their company has shared. They want to feel that you want to be a part of their team after knowing all about them. They would love to see you engage with their content.

Listen to what they are asking?and?answer in a concise manner. Reply only to what they are asking you, do not derail from the original question. They want a concise and precise answer and will want to see confidence in your word.

Sell your profile. Express everything good about yourself, what you have accomplished and why you are the perfect fit for the position.

Appear confident?and?with a good attitude. People want to hire professionals that are happy doing what they do, and open to new challenges. Make them believe in your capabilities.

Ask smart questions. Every good interview ends with professionals being prepared to ask SMART questions. Questions that will elevate the conversation to a whole new level.

Don’t:?

Don’t be late. Interviewers are taking some of their time to make the interviews happen because they need help/talent, but if you appear late that will only show your lack of interest in the role.

Don’t forget to be in a quiet environment. During an interview you need to be calm, with good internet (if it is remote), and able to answer to every question without there being distractions.

Don’t forget to turn your camara on (for remote interviews) Appearing ready to answer everything with a camera on shows that you are not searching for the correct answers in your browser or asking someone behind you. A camera on means transparency.

Don’t overshare personal information. Keep it simple, answer the questions and if you are asked about your current job or why you want to leave don’t fall in the temptation of speaking bad about it. It shows you are not completely respectful to your work environment.

Don’t speak over the interviewer, let them finish first and then speak your mind.

Don’t lie, truly there is no need and interviewers will be able to tell.
