Doroni to Attend 16th Annual Electric Aircraft Symposium
“Doroni is excited to be joining the Electric Aircraft Symposium—the world’s longest-running electric aviation technology meeting—and show the world what the Doroni H1 is capable of.”
Doron Merdinger,
CEO/Founder Doroni Aerospace
Greetings Doroni family,
I’m proud to announce that Doroni Aerospace will be joining the 16th Annual Electric Aircraft Symposium (EAS) hosted by the Vertical Flight Society. After two years of virtual-only programming, EAS returns with a hybrid event at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh campus and online July 23-24.?
The Doroni team is especially excited as we will be unveiling our latest progress development of the Doroni H1 eVTOL—an interactive modeling of H1’s cockpit and interior that’s nearly complete. And we’re thrilled to be showing the world our vision of flight and what’s possible with the Doroni H1.?
16th Annual Electric Aircraft Symposium
“The electric-powered aircraft industry is gaining momentum with investments topping $10B in the past five years. EAS provides an opportunity to get comprehensive updates on the state of the industry and hear from the industry’s leading thought leaders,” said Mike Hirschberg, VFS Executive Director, via a VFS press release.?
More than 40 of the world’s leading electric aircraft developers and technology experts will be speaking at EAS, the world’s longest-running electric aviation technology meeting. The conference will run from 8AM to 5:30PM CDT on Saturday and Sunday with 7 sessions each day. Each moderated panel session will also include the program’s hallmark Q&A discussions with presenters and attendees.?
I highly recommend joining Doroni Aerospace at EAS if you’re able—the cost of the two-day symposium is $175 for on-site or virtual attendees and there is also a special virtual-only option for VFS student members for only $25.??
Details can be found here: ?? www.vtol.org/eas.?
This year’s program will include more than 40 experts from industry, academia and government, participating in 14 in-depth panel discussions covering the full spectrum of topics ranging from: propulsion systems, community integration, demand forecasting, autonomy, vertiports, noise, urban operations, training, certification, regional air mobility, and defense/public services.??
The full breakdown of companies and organizations that will be present at this year’s EAS can be found via the link above, but include such noteworthy participants as: AFWERX, Elroy Air, EVE Air Mobility, Honeywell (who Doroni is also working with), Joby Aviation, Lilium, Rolls-Royce Electrical, Skyports, Urban Movement Labs, and many others.?

The Vertical Flight Society
If you’re unfamiliar with the hosting group, the Vertical Flight Society is the world’s premier vertical flight technical society. It was originally founded as the American Helicopter Society in 1943 and since that time has been a major force in the advancement of vertical flight and is the global resource for information on vertical flight technology.?
VFS hosted the world’s first electric VTOL technical meeting in 2014, launched the world’s first eVTOL eNewsletter in 2016, world’s first dedicated eVTOL website in 2017, the world’s first eVTOL short course in 2018, and North America’s first hydrogen symposium in March 2022.?
Many of the companies now on the forefront of the electric aviation revolution made their public debut at the Electric Aircraft Symposium or the VFS Electric VTOL Symposium. “The Vertical Flight Society began sponsoring EAS in 2018 because we recognized the vertical and horizontal takeoff and landing aircraft communities could benefit tremendously from each other,” adds Hirschberg. “For example, distributed electric propulsion (DEP) is a common element in most of these revolutionary electric-powered aircraft designs, and they face similar technology and certification challenges.”?
Join Doroni At This Year’s 16th Annual EAS
If you’re a member of our family of supporters and community of investors, we’d love for you to join us at this year’s EAS hosted by The Vertical Flight Society. We have a number of big announcements on the horizon soon and this year’s event is a great opportunity to engage with us and some of the industry’s other big names.?
Development of the Doroni H1 eVTOL has made some pretty massive strides since we moved into our new R&D facility earlier this year. As we previously mentioned, the entire team is thrilled to be unveiling the H1’s cockpit and interiors to the public, and we’re truly looking forward to giving people a first-hand look at what it is capable of.?
We are building the next iteration of the commuter experience with our development of the H1 eVTOL platform. It’s our mission to bring safe and consumer-first air transportation to the industry and the world and our team has the experience, technical ingenuity, and drive to help get the industry off the ground, with a targeted Light Sport Aircraft certification with the FAA ahead of our product launch in the second half of 2024.?
Once complete, the H1’s easy-to-use control system, intuitive flight design, and quick deployment will completely revolutionize the way we commute. What’s more, it will change the way we respond to emergencies and natural disasters, the way we ship goods, and the way we support our military and law enforcement.?
We also just completed our first crowdfunding raise on StartEngine.com, reaching our $1.07M max offering early, and recently achieved a new company valuation of $159M, up from the previous $14M.?
