Dorn has another hit on his hands!
In 1973 my Rock & Roll band 'Painter' released 'West Coast Woman' on the Warner/Elektra Label. It was the fastest rising single from a new group that they had ever had. We shot up the world charts in Billboard magazine and started touring North America with Rod Stewart, Jethro Tull, KISS, Procol Harem and BTO to name just a few. We co-headlined with Steely Dan and were joined on-stage by Frank Zappa and even had a personal visit from Paul and Linda McCartney when we played the Starwood Theater in Hollywood. Painter was well on its way to fame and fortune until the we were struck down by mismanagement. A common tale of woe and that's a whole other story. My point is Painter had a hit! I am very proud to say I was part of it. I had a hit.
Now all these years later, a different venue, a different genre, a different life but still something that brings folks joy. Golf! I have another hit. The Harmonix Live-Head Putter is a hit.
