The tech ecosystem in Africa needs several key elements to thrive. First, robust infrastructure such as reliable internet connectivity and access to modern technology is imperative. Second, investment in education and training programs to develop a skilled workforce is crucial. Third, there is also a need for increased funding and support for startups and tech entrepreneurs, as well as policies that encourage innovation and protect intellectual property. Lastly, fostering a collaborative environment where stakeholders - such as government, private sector and academia- can work together is essential.

What major challenges affect the tech ecosystem in Africa?
