The Donut, a holy trinity, and the illusory truth effect...

The other day, I came across a phrase that might explain why Donut Trump was recently catapulted, bizarrely (and most seem to think unjustly), into The White House.

?Because of it…and because of his abundance of greed and overwhelming lack of empathy, compassion, and basic humanity, there now exists a state of Fear and Loathing in America

?Trump is, today, ridiculed, scorned, defamed, and hated with a vengeance…despite being, technically, the most powerful leader of the free world. He is a ‘Billy-no-mates’ on a global scale who wouldn’t recognise true strength and diplomacy if it bit him on his oversized glutes on a dark night.

?So, now to that phrase…

?It’s known as ‘The Illusory Truth Effect.

?Long story short, The Illusory Truth Effect is a phenomenon whereby people tend to believe information more readily if they are exposed to it repeatedly. In other words, the more you hear something, the more likely you are to believe it’s true…regardless of whether it’s true or not.

?Enter Donut stage left, with his constant stream of lies, followed by his brain-dead disciples. And because processing familiar information is easier than processing new information (i.e. the more you hear something, the more likely you are to perceive it as true, regardless of its accuracy), all Donut’s disciples interpret his lies as truth.

?It’s brilliant…in a lying evil shit kinda way.

?But…and this is where The Illusory Truth Effect becomes even MORE powerful…this well-worked con trick extends to Donut’s close allies, his devious ‘holy trinity’ of Putin, Vance, and Musk.

?Together, they are sweating blood to pull the wool over the eyes of ALL the good American public, not just the ones they have, so far, well-and-truly conned.

?But they’ve forgotten one vital thing…

?The Illusory Truth Effect has a dangerously short shelf-life of about six months…a year tops. After which, as good old Bill Shakespeare said in The Merchant of Venice, ‘…the truth will out.’

?Then we’ll see how fast The Donut can run…
