Don't worry be happy
God Morning Everyone,
"I've got confidence God is gonna see me through, No matter what the case may be, I know He's gonna fix it for me. I've got confidence God is gonna see me through, No matter what the case may be, I know He's gonna fix it for me." This is the chorus of an Andrae Crouch song from 1969. BTW - For me, that was a few short days ago:))) In relation to eternity, it was a few short seconds ago. Anyway, SOMEONE NEEDS TO HEAR THIS RIGHT NOW!!!! You've been struggling with COVID fear, had some disease or financial problem hit you square between the eyes, even been worried about the future of this nation. DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY as an old song from the 80's mentions. GOD IS IN CONTROL and will take care of the problem, the burden that is weighing you down.
IN FACT, the Lord would tell you from Psalms 55:22 (AMP); "Cast your burden on the Lord [releasing the weight of it] and He will sustain you; He will never allow the [consistently] righteous to be moved (made to slip, fall, or fail)." How on earth can I do that? This problem seems insurmountable, you say. I HAVE GREAT NEWS FOR YOU TODAY!!!!!! Psalms 50:14-15 (NLT) says; "Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High. 15 Then call on me when you are in trouble, and I will rescue you, and you will give me glory."
"Praise is the highway to the throne of God." I'm here to tell you, today, upon the authority of the WORD OF GOD and 50+ years experience with my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Kings and Lord of lords, when trouble comes, and it will, begin praising the Lord (especially if you don't feel like it) and seek the King. Soon the problem will seem smaller and doable. Victory is a done deal. If you let Him, NO MATTER WHAT THE PROBLEM IS, God will take it away bearing the most heavy part of the load.
Matthew 11:28-30 (AMP) says; "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. 30 For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne."
We, in the United States, don't use oxen today for farming, but in Jesus day it was like having your John Deere, Kubota (I had one of these), or whatever the tractor is, and getting the job done. The difference is, it was like having a full grown ox yoked with a calf. The BIG BOY would pull the majority of the load while the little one is really only there for show (he's in the fight, but the big boy is doing all the work). (Did you ever do this with your kids/grandkids?)
Let me say it again, I'VE EXPERIENCED THIS, as I'm sure many of you reading this have, so many times I've lost count. You, as a child of the Living God, were not created to crumble under the weight of the problem the enemy has saddled you with. GOD IS THERE AND WANTS TO TAKE CARE OF THAT BURDEN FOR YOU!!!!!!
My encouragement to you, today, is to "bear a song away", an old expression from before my day. It means DON'T WORRY, BE HAPPY!!!!!! Jesus never fails in whatever problem we might face within ourselves, our families, relationships, even our country. "Have faith in God, He’s on His throne, Have faith in God, He watches over His own; He cannot fail, He must prevail, Have faith in God, Have faith in God." (Do you see that Music speaks to me almost as much as the Scriptures?) This is an old hymn from the 1930's, but it speaks volumes.
Again, someone needs to believe what I'm telling you then apply Mark 11:24 to the situation. "Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them." Come on, now, I assure you, God will not, CANNOT fail you. Be free and victorious in the mighty Name of Jesus and through His Precious Blood.
