Don't walk in darkness

One time I was trying to navigate through the darkness while carrying an armload of firewood. This is when my kids were a lot younger and as I walked back to the house the lack of light didn't show me the kids toys I was about to step on. I stepped smack dab onto the obstacle! I fell, wood flew and one of the logs landed and broke my thumb. A little light would have helped me avoid a whole host of obstacles, choice words and pain. When we let God be our light, we can avoid the same in life. He can illuminate our walk like no one else can. Let God be a light for your daily (and nightly) walk and have a blessed day!
