Don't stay down! Get up with God's help!

Joshua 7:10 The Lord said to Joshua, “Stand up! What are you doing down on your face?

Sometimes God's direction may be blunt and a call to action. You can almost hear Him saying: 'What are you doing?!? Get up, suck it up, and take care of this! I gave you the skills... now use them!' Sometimes we get down, overwhelmed, and we doubt our own abilities. This is when we may find ourselves praying a 'Why me?!?' prayer. And God may come back with a, 'Why not!!! I made you for times like this. Now get up and win!' Just because a moment sucks, doesn't mean we need to suck in the moment! (Wow... that should be a bumper sticker...LOL). Pray to God for the strength to get up, win, and have a blessed day!

As strange as it sounds I've always loved Boxing. When done well it's a sport about courage, strength and fair play. Don King was brilliant and promoted men who kept the sport clean (minus a missing ear, Mr. Tyson). But getting up is the whole point of the match. God is a gentleman who won't stand for foul play in a challenge. This post is quite possibly my favorite of all time. As the "queen" of failures, I can say Praise God, I'm still standing! I only want HIS success for my life!
