Don't Start A Business, Buy one.

Don't Start A Business, Buy one.

Have you considered starting a business? Or maybe you want to grow your business.

Good News it is the perfect time. The retirement of baby boomers will generate trillions of wealth transfer for the next 20 years.

There are plenty of boomers who won't leave their business to loved ones.

Their business comes with years of a reputation, it's cash flowing(hopefully) and it's 95% success rate whereas most new businesses fail within the first few years.

Not only can you buy a business but you can use other people money to do it.

Take a look at Reginald F. Lewis.

Reginald F. Lewis was an American lawyer and businessman who was born in Baltimore, Maryland, in 1942.

He is best known for his successful career as a corporate lawyer and his ability to acquire and run businesses, which made him one of the richest African Americans in the United States at the time of his death in 1993.

Lewis began his career as a lawyer, working for the prestigious law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

He was highly skilled and soon became a partner, but he realized that he wanted to use his legal expertise to buy and run businesses.

To that end, he formed TLC Group L.P., a leveraged buyout (LBO) firm, which he used to buy and run several companies.

An LBO is a financial structure in which a company is purchased with a significant amount of borrowed money, usually from a private equity firm or a group of investors.

The company is then responsible for paying back the debt and making a profit for the investors.

This was the method Lewis used to buy and run businesses, and he was very successful in using this approach.

Lewis' most famous LBO was the acquisition of Beatrice International Foods, a multinational food company.

He bought the company in 1987 for $985 million and turned it around, making it a highly profitable business.

This was a significant accomplishment, as it was one of the largest LBOs at the time, and it established Lewis as one of the top business leaders in the country.

Lewis was known for his aggressive and innovative approach to business.

He was not afraid to take risks and was always looking for new opportunities.

He was also a firm believer in the importance of hard work and education, and he used his success to inspire others to achieve their goals.

Reginald F. Lewis was a successful businessman who used his legal expertise to acquire and run businesses through the method of leveraged buyouts.

He was highly skilled, aggressive, and innovative, and his success inspired many others to follow in his footsteps.

He remains an important figure in American business history, and his legacy continues to influence the way that businesses are run and acquired.
