Don’t slit anyone’s throat…

Don’t slit anyone’s throat…

Don’t slit anyone’s throat…

At least you are not in a bloody fight.?

You are in a business.

If you have read my last newsletter

Then the first statement above might relate.

If you haven’t, you should check out my first newsletter.?

“How to slit the throat of your competitors.”

Before any of this would make any sense.

The truth was that I was about to post that newsletter.?

When the title came to my head like a stray bullet fired by a crazy Nigerian soldier.

I couldn’t help but use that title.

Despite that, it didn’t directly imply that you slit anyone’s throat.?

I was only showing you how important it was to win the heart of your prospect over what every other person is saying out there.

Your stuff needs to be unique, different and far from what every other person out there is offering.

That is what the story I shared in the previous newsletter was about.

So for today’s newsletter.

My advice for you is not to compete.

Competition is what slit the throat of one of the first men on earth.

When Cain felt his competitor (his brother Abel) was looked upon with favour.

He was vexed, and he decided that he must end this nonsense.

What seemed like just pleasing God?

Turned into a sibling rivalry.?

That ended the life of the just third man that existed on earth.

That is why?

Whenever you are in a business

Do not see anybody as a competition.?

Or do not try to make a rivalry in business.

That might cost your business or your life like poor Abel’s.

So...?

What should you do?

A lot of people are going to offer what you are offering.?

That is sure, and you might even be offering an affiliate product.?

Meaning almost everyone is selling what you are selling.

That is where my ELD method comes in.

Your offer needs to be?

  • Emotionally attractive
  • Logically interesting and?
  • Difficult to replace.

Once you do that - you immediately change the focus of your prospects.?

Instead of just looking at a variety of options, they are looking at something entirely different from the entire pack.

You should also give whatever you are offering a unique name.

A name none of them have ever heard before

They would immediately attach that name to you and your brand.?

Once you do this

Forget competition

You would be different.?

Instead of doing like the tomatoes sellers?

Mama Sunday only reduces N30 for you so that you can get her tomatoes instead of from Mama Tunde.

If there is anything you have learned today, it should be this

  • Don’t slit anyone’s throat, or you might be the throat to be slit.
  • Create something that would differentiate you from the pack.
  • Give a unique name to your offer.

If you have enjoyed this newsletter.

Then hit the subscribe button and share it on your wall so that people like you can also benefit from it.?

See you on the next issue.

Seth.

The money is not in competing and winning. The money is in NOT competing. I say this almost everytime. Competition is only good for the market but NOT for you. Learn to differentiate yourself from the pack. Nice one Kyauta Seth
