Do You Find Yourself Reducing Your Prices to Get Clients? Are You Too Cheap?
Do you find it hard to compete in your business?
The Makeup world is a very competitive business to be in, being a professional Makeup Artist for over 18 years and running a successful Makeover and Photography Studio, I have learned a thing or two about how best to conduct myself to achieve financial rewards.
During this time I have learned if you try to look competitive by reducing your prices, you can often be cheapening the quality of your work blending into an already oversaturated market.
KNOW YOUR WORTH!
Give your business the fighting chance it deserves and to be rewarded for the work you do, rather than knocking ‘Money OFF’
When offering your products / services....
ADD VALUE!
By adding something to the package you immediately look more attractive to your potential customer.
For Example:
If you have 3 Packages on offer, The Top package being the most expensive and the bottom package being the least expensive. You need to make your top package, so inviting it is too good to refuse.
Add value making it more attractive so the client gets more their your money. You will soon be booking your top package with every client you receive.
Don't Sell Yourself Short and Blend into a Crowd.
* MORE Top Tips:
? Get Professional Images of your work. It pays to paint yourself in the best light,
Nobody want to see a bottle of washing up liquid and a kitchen sink in the background... Get a professional to help with your portfolio...it will soon pay off.
? DON'T OVER EDIT
Don’t over edit your work, not only are you wasting alot if time...it will only show your not being honest.. it’s too easy to tell and not all your clients want to look like an airbrushed Barbie doll. Show your worth and skills naturally, it’s worth it.
? GET REVIEWS
Get as many quality testimonials as possible, the more people read about how good you are the more bookings you'll receive in the long run...and this will soon reflect on your higher prices.
*Quality work will be rewarded if you know how to put yourself out there.
