To integrate these strategies into your life, consider assigning each week of the month to focus on one aspect of CARE. Start by enhancing your 'Connect' network this week by scheduling coffee with a mentor or reconnecting with an old friend. Next week, focus on 'Accept' by identifying what you can and cannot change in a current challenge and planning steps for those elements within your control. The following week, focus on 'Respond' by doing something as simple as taking a pause before you respond to a situation or a comment and really check in with yourself to make sure that any signs of impulsivity are not showing up. Then finish up by focusing on 'Empower" by taking time to reflect on how far you've come and how you were able to leverage your strengths to work for you.
