1?? Recap what they’ve ask you to do right at the beginning, especially if its a panel - you’ll be shocked how many people on other end have no idea what they have actually asked you to do
2?? Make sure there is a thread that ties the presentation together. Don’t just have random slides with no link. Your audience will get lost and even if your content is good, it won’t land
3?? Keep the words to a minimum. Use visuals to replace words. Too many words on a slide and your audience will start reading the slide instead of listening to you.
4?? If you work in Marketing or the Creative industry, story-telling is our Super Power! Don’t be afraid to let your presentation tell a story. It will help connect with your audience on a more emotional level.
5?? Stick to the time limit! Practice practice practice. There is no excuse for going over the time limit and it will not be appreciated by your audience.
