The Department of Labor proposed revised overtime regulations in June 2015 which affect the Fair Labor Standards Act's (FLSA) "white collar" overtime exemptions. The proposed regulations increase the salary threshold needed to qualify for overtime exemption from $455 per week or $23,600 per year to $970 per week or $50,440 per year. This proposal is expected to impact over 5 million workers.
