This morning, when I got up...
Just like most of you, I started my day with my social media feed and kept scrolling my screen up and down till I planned to leave the bed...
While scrolling I realized that it is not just another Sunday morning but a one in which I should call all the women I know to make them feel special!
However, It is 7:00 PM already and I honestly couldn't call them all and couldn't say what I got to say... Because... I know for a fact... every woman will not be able to accept this gesture.
You know why?
Because...
If you compliment her, she says Thanks but gets insecure thinking you might have wrong intentions to woo her…
If you tell her she is beautiful, she smiles but she gets reminded of all the people who kind of call her ugly!
If you tell her, she works really well and hard... she gently smerks but wishes her immediate family could think that way!
If you tell her she is tomboyish, she says hell yeah but immediately starts missing that innocent girl in her.
If you call her girly, she might shy away… and will never tell you that she likes hoodies, sweatshirts, and jeans a lot more and pink is not her favorite color…
BTW, did you wish her today? Ooh, you did?
What was her response… she Thanked you??… she did right? ??
(Laughter) Congratulations you have been a victim of Perceived Realism.
Now, the civilized and educated man made them react this way… let us accept it so because that's the only way you can change it!
They today became so insure and so pretentious that everything they say comes out through so many filters that what they say comes out so different from what they feel?
This women's day!
Don’t judge her if she shares something that your dictionary can not accept!
Don’t look at her the way she finds it inappropriate …
Don’t compare her just to make her match your statuesque,
Don’t make her eat spaghetti when she likes Chole Bhature (Its an Indian dish which my Aunt made today so it is in the back of my mind… :))
In short, please don’t tell her what she is supposed to do!
If she could take care of you in her womb and can introduce you to the world… she is far way capable of doing everything you can imagine!
Let her be.. what she is supposed to be…
I said this last year, I will repeat this today!
And, I will repeat this again and again and again… till she can breathe comfortably in her skin without being compared, judged, or both.
Please, this women's day,
Let her be imperfect, whimsical, irresponsible, boorish, lazy, fierce, opinionated, loud, flabby, un-groomed, adventurous, unpredictable, unprepared, impractical, and most importantly imperfect…
After all, What will you do with a society where imperfection is not cherished?
I mean imagine, if everyone loves the day and hates the night???
Wrong metaphor ….?? Grammar was not right? Words were not flowing well??
Yeah… I am Writing after a very Long time...
So happily leave and outbreak all your judgments and comments on the wrong metaphor/grammar of this article and please spare the beautiful women today…
Instead, let's appreciate her together! ??
And yeah, I am sharing this at sharp 7:53 PM IST (Indian time)
So you can book a table for two at around 8:30 or may be 9:00 PM :) :) ;) (Indian time)
The last thing, Don’t make her eat spaghetti when she likes Chole Bhature!!! :) :)
With Love,
Her Fan,
Kashish Keswani
