Don't make these 3 mistakes in your reels

I want your reels to be as effective as possible so here are some shortcuts!
I watch tons of reels and see many business owners making these 3 mistakes so be sure to avoid them. (and if you're looking to grow more quickly on IG and attract your ideal followers-- make sure you read all the way to the bottom cause I have the PERFECT thing for you!)
???? #1 No text on the screen
It's so important to put text on the screen because many people watch reels without any sound so if there is no text on the screen people won't know what your reel is about and most likely will keep on scrolling.?
Also we need to grab attention quickly! So you want to type out text or a "hook" on the screen that will reflect what your reels is about and make it interesting!
It can be surprising, personal, funny, controversial etc--just make sure it is related to the message of your reel. Also add captions for talking reels. (Click the sticker icon then tap captions and it'll transcribe what you said.)
???? #2 Having no structure
Here is an easy formula for the structure for your reels:
Hook then value then CTA (call to action)
Like the first tip said hooks are important so have that first on the screen. You can make it disappear after a few seconds.?
The value is like the meat and potatoes...the nitty gritty baby!?
Whether you are talking or not talking...you want to have a main message-either motivational or educational or telling a story about yourself etc...and keep it concise! Don't just talk about the weather.?
If you record your feet on a lounge chair and show a lake and are not talking and there is no text or message on the screen---that is an example of a reel lacking in value.
At the end type out a CTA or call to action that will guide people to do something. It can be asking them to follow you or like the reel or DM you etc....
???? #3 Being too stiff
Don't feel like you have to be formal or "professional". IG is all about FUN! Make sure you're showing your real personality, smile, have a lot of facial expressions, talk with your hands etc...
Include some movement as much as you can like walking and talking for example. You can even do a simple action like drinking water and put text on the screen. You can dance if you want to. (isn't that from an 80's song?? ) But you don't have to.?
But any physical action will do! Movement attracts the eyeballs and will make your reel more visually interesting.
