Don't Limit yourself

People kept saying and doing different things because of different motivations and for various reasons they have experienced and based on what inspires them or maybe not.

Perhaps their motivation and their inspiration has to do with the things that they are interested in doing or interested in not doing. It also noteworthy to me about their inner attitude towards the opportunities that present itself in front of them regardless of their race, status, geographical location or state of mind.

However, such opportunity does not negate the fact that we are equally human, and nor does it favor one from another which makes them nor different from me.

YET the real difference, lies in the values and the standards we all are ascribing to and the principle to which we apply in our own lives as human beings striving every single day to at least attain something or NOT, or as someone who breathe and live and just be.

I often wonder about the beauty that lies in the difference and the beauty that creates such amazing diversity yet we are one. HUMANS. 

Let alone, what inspires and transpires out of us to empower others should be nor any different from the rest though very diverse in expression – this mindset then tends to be very socially inclusive in purpose especially when it comes to dealing with the attributions of any type of stigma;mental discrimination against any human being of race, colour, shapes, sizes and gender identification and the inclination to act otherwise yet silence speaks louder than actual vocalisation.

Self-evaluation.

I on the other hand is no different from any Human being. But what differentiates me from others is that I learn to run my lane with confidence yet very open to learning as I go. I learn to appreciate the failures a human being can experience and then learn from it and move on to the next best version of who I should become , though a little bit of constructive criticism to get to the core of the issues I have got to learn from does me or any other person no harm. I prefer to take a hard look at myself and be honest and truthful about how I judge and measure myself by not comparing or competing with others but rather recognizing the truth that I am on a journey of discovering myself and to be better so that I can contribute to the well-being of others who depends on my well-being so that they can better themselves to make me better as well. It’s a symbiotic relationship. I give you strength, you cover my weakness and vice versa. 

Looking from Hindsight, I wasn’t any different from that 7-year-old girl who almost got molested by her distant relative in the name of trust being dressed in negligence , un-supervised , thus trust got broken , she lost confidence in men and she has kept it a secret for years only so that she cannot be judged by her context and those around her and she had to live with that until she finds ways to break that disconnect by losing herself into a mental fatigue of undeveloped morally degrading habits. Because in her mind, she was thinking that it was her fault for being a girl and so the only way to hide or defeat her fears was to act like a boy, so that she cannot get hurt by other boys because she too is a girl who acts like a boy. This is nonsensical in the most sensible way she can describe it. That too is a vanity in my sight and makes me question my ability to give an ear to either listen , judge without speaking or open my heart and carry this poor helpless child in my heart and praying every night that she can muster the strength to find a path that will enable her to use what was meant for her destruction and turn it something she can construct to build others.

Life is more than telling stories of experiences that expresses sadness, frustrations, difficulties or happiness and Joy. I always tell myself “Try not to lock yourself down into little definitions of your ambitions and challenges. Life is truly about convictions of who you really are as you journey towards the future now, regardless of your age,size,shape and type. Who you always wanted to be is a package of what was based on the experiences you went through and the collective action of friends, families, of coaches and mentors, who provided the love and the support you needed, to be in that moment of truth”.

Not all human beings are the same scientifically speaking, but they are equally human. Male and Female, young and old of colors, shapes and sizes – ALL are equally Human.

So, let’s focus our energy on the good things, put aside our differences and reach – out and start embracing the goodness that comes out from each one of us. Because each one of us has a Journey and each one of us has something to say, each one of us has something to forgive, to forget and to contribute, to make our lives better for each one of us. Together we can do this.

However, biggest deception of all time, is to come together for the primary reasons of collective action or to create space for all to come together to work together, yet the fragmentation still exists internally, solely because the core of why we are working together is treated as secondary and because of lack of shared-value in all of us. The truth is, you can say so much but it does not truly reflect how you work with each other – because at the end of the day it’s about managing relationships and trust and once that becomes a core pillar of our lives, we can deal with any situation that is thrown in our way without chicken out and then we can resolve it.

This is my reflection. This is my fortitude.
