Don't let it slip away
Someone once said that with all the ideas that are killed in the egg we could feed omelets to the all world.
One of the reasons for this situation is that it’s difficult to make others adhere to new concepts. Even if a few of us still find the strength to continue their journey, most of us just give up and get back to their humdrum.
However it’s not a fatality and with a few tricks you can greatly increase your chances of getting support from the ones around you.
Here are some of the tips that could help you achieve that:
- Gather as much information as you can: with the internet this has become easier for everyone, but beware of false or wrong information. Keep in mind that this is going to help you give life to your insight.
- Make your concept clear for everyone: no one think the same way you do, so if you want other to truly comprehend what you’re talking about, you should use words that could be understood by all. This is also a great way to gather up your thoughts and to have a better grasp upon the notion you’re constructing.
- Have a 100 % faith in your idea: no one will decide to join you on something you don’t totally believe. That don't mean you can't have doubts about it, just don't show them at first.
- Share it with a large audience: face your view with people outside of your field, people that not necessarily know the subject. This is the better way for you to get an understanding of the pros and cons of your notion and to begin enhancing it.
- Take all the feedback: good or bad, try to learn from them and to make the right adjustments. The more you have, the better. This way you'll truly be able to shape this new idea
At the end, if all of this don’t work, you could at least say that you’ve given a chance to your idea. And maybe (just maybe) after all these efforts, you’ll find the strength to bear your inkling alone, following your journey with the setting sun just like a poor lonesome cowboy…
