Are you putting your feet up for Half Term, or is it a mad dash to keep everything moving with childcare and balancing work? I do remember those days, so I know how you're feeling.
I've almost caught up after my week away.
So I guess you'll be feeling the same if you're taking time off. Any tips for making it easy? When I was away we had poor internet so it was hard to keep on top of things, but I did get a break, which is also important.
Do you properly switch off??
You know it's OK to give content a break when you have a break.?
I actually used to delete the LinkedIn App from my phone at weekends.? Now that my brain doesn't associate weekends with LinkedIn I do not need to delete it.? Isn't it amazing how we can re-train our brains?? This is called neuroplasticity!!? I've read a neuroscience book and done a course!
Change of plan this week
As I am writing this, it seems to make a lot of sense. BUT I won't change anything just yet.??
Please let me know your thoughts.?
I want you to create content and win business just like me, which is why I have been sending these emails every week since June 2021.
That's 191 Newsletters ??
Here's my ideas for you this week.
1. The Power of Books
2. Love Your Pet Day – 20 February
3. World Yoga Day – 22 February
4. Random Acts of Kindness Day – 17 February
5. Managing Half-Term Disruptions

Why Consistency Wins on LinkedIn??
Success isn’t about the perfect post—it’s about showing up again and again. Posting regularly helps you:
Regularly means just once a week!! You can do more, but build it up. I'm doing the couch to 5K. It's an app that helps to go from sedentary to running. The first week I only ran in 60-second bursts. Do the same with your content writing, but aim to add to one post per week over time to get to optimism of three.
Which idea will you use this week? Pick one, post it, and keep the habit going. If you need help, reach out—you know I love to help!!!
All the best,
Ashley

1 周Love this! Half-term is always a juggling act even though Ihave grown up kids - still mroe epole in the house buzzing round- and yes, properly switching off is a skill in itself! Totally agree that consistency on LinkedIn wins every time. It’s like fitness-you don’t need to go all in from day one, just start small and build. I often tell my LinkedIn trainees: one post a week beats a burst of content followed by radio silence. Have you tested engagement levels between weekly vs. monthly updates before? Would love to hear what works best for you!

1 周Useful tips Ashley Leeds ?? Switching off properly is so important, but it’s definitely easier said than done! I like the idea of a monthly newsletter with 20 ideas—it gives people time to absorb the content. Uhmm...I'll go for 17 February, the random acts of kindness day this week. ??
