And the pattern continues... We may not have wooden statues or golden calves erected that we call our idols, but we do have our idols don't we? Money, sex, career, status, cars, boats, homes, athletes, celebrities, ________ (insert your idol here) can all dim our focus on Christ. The more we let ourselves look for peace, happiness and contentment in fake idols the less of any of those three things will we find. Don't put anything on a pedestal that doesn't belong there. Don't let fake idols control your life, save your worship for Jesus and have a blessed day!
