Don't let anger get the better of you
SportsFaith Play of the day from the Ultimate Playbook!
James 1:19 My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry,...
We all experience anger from time to time. What do you do with it? Do you lash out, yell, swear, judge or get physical? Or do you pause, pray, reason and love? Are you a 'don't get mad get even' or 'grace over judgement' person? Anger is an emotion (as all emotions are) given to us by God. How we react to this emotion can make us a sinner looking for grace our self or allow us to be a light in a dark situation. Don't get mad at your anger (huh?). Use it to identify an issue, use love and grace to get through constructively and have a blessed day!

4 年Good lesson today, in a day of emotion overload on all fronts. My Dad used to quote Proverbs when there was a conflict between my sisters and I.... "Let not the Sun go down upon your wrath". Its hard at times not to get the reaction we want in the moment in exchange for sacrificing the lasting kindness we can offer. Praise God my Dad listen to His Heavenly Father. I seek to practice this in my personal as well as my professional life. Thanks, Matt, for today's Wisdom from the WORD!
