Don’t Just Be a Sales Agent, Be a Change Agent

Our sales training isn’t for everyone.
We work with a special breed. Unicorns, specifically.
I was having a text conversation with one of our agents, Jacquline, when it hit me, THIS IS WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT! THIS IS WHAT MAKES OUR AGENTS NOT LIKE ANY OTHER!
I’m so proud of Jacqueline it brought me to tears.
When I reached out to her last week for something I wanted quite immediately. I could tell she was immediately triggered in her voxer tone.
"This just isn't the way I do things. I don’t just throw things together last minute and not have them be perfect" was her response.
A few seconds later before I could say anything, she immediately took ownership and said, "We'll have to chat later. I can tell I'm being a bit reactive."
My eyes filled up with tears. I know how hard it is to be triggered, take ownership, and ask for space to work through my own stuff. I was beyond impressed by her response.
In my next message, I challenged her in this way of thinking. Sometimes "the way we always do things" isn't the most effective.
When she responded my heart exploded. I messaged my whole team and said, “this is the type of agent we want to attract more of! These women will disrupt the sales game and uplevel it for everyone.”
Extreme ownership and transparency are the roads to self-mastery. Those that are committed to self-mastery are the leaders of change in the world.
Our sales agents aren’t just “closers” they’re change agents for humans. It's just one of the ways we are shifting the sales paradigm. Not everyone is ready for this kind of self-mastery, but the ones that are, literally change their world around them. We call those unicorns.

Final tip, every day, little by little work on your own self-mastery, recognizing your triggers and choosing to uplevel. Your behavior shifts will be noticed and you will begin to not only see changes in your own circle of influence but likely your income as well!

4 年Bella Verita Love that statement. "Extreme ownership and transparency are the roads to self-mastery." It is about ownership and taking responsibility. And yes, I agree. Don't take every client. I do the same. My training is not for everyone. There must be alignment in values and certain ways of how things should happen.
