Be Unique
With so many different businesses on social media, it has become increasingly challenging to be unique and stand out these days. Your social media presence should not look like everyone else’s because your customers will get confused! It might seem simple but in reality it is easy to fall into the trap of becoming monotonous because most people want to play it safe. Unfortunately, playing it safe can prevent a brand from standing out amongst everyone else.
To be able to stand out you have to get away from posting promotions, selling and sharing links. The content that you post should be something your audience can relate to! It should include information that they actually want to engage with. Making your posts more targeted to your intended audience will help you make a better connection with them. The more your audience relates to your content, the more they will want to share it with their followers, as well as engaging with it!
Another big factor is caring for your image and profile, it can be a huge part of being unique. When people visit your profile, you want users to relate and identify with it on a personal level, it makes them feel more comfortable with you and your brand. Having an effective biography, great profile picture, and eye-catching feed is essential to get noticed - if you need any help guys, you know where I am.
In most cases, users glance through a profile for 2 seconds, especially if they're not that bothered by you. BUT it also provides you with 2 valuable seconds to catch their attention and let them know why you're different, it should cause them to want to stay and explore your brand further. The more visually pleasing your feed and profile are, the more followers and likes you will receive! It might only take a few minutes to change it up but it could bring you a whole world of new work.
