Don’t Just Copy, Trust Yourself

There’s so much information out there these days, it’s natural to look for that magical step-by-step system.

We want the how.

We want it all laid out for us step-by-step…

Just plug and play.

But just because an expert achieved a result 3 months ago with their market, it does not mean it will work exactly the same now to your market.

I’ve met people who have tried dozens of split tests recommended by others.

They didn’t work for them.

Don’t get me wrong, sometimes it can work.

I used the product launch formula, and generated tens of thousands of dollars with it.

Same with Frank Kern’s Mass Control. And Sean Mize’s $25 book made me tens of thousands of dollars.

They can work, but the thing is each technique is a tool.

Get the tools, yes.

Learn Facebook advertising.

Learn Youtube advertising.

Learn Google Adwords.

BUT then relate it to your specific situation.

Where am I on the chess board? Is it appropriate for me.

Then go for a coffee…

Draw on your mental toolbox…

And map out a plan, based on all the tools that are sitting there in your subconscious mind.

Of course, if you haven’t done the learning, you don’t have the tools.

It’s just like any other form of knowledge.

A doctor might know a dozen approaches to take for someone with a sore throat. But you and I probably don’t. We’re not going to get those gut feelings and be able to rely on intuition… because we don’t have the knowledge.

However when it comes to marketing, I do.
