Don't judge! Love and lead

Romans 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.

We do need to call out sin and acknowledge the difference between what is God honoring and not. However, we need to do it with love and humility. Sometimes the sins we notice first are ones that we are or have been guilty of ourselves. And by judging harshly without love, we end up sinning as well. I'm going to go on a limb here, but if I walk up to someone who I see is sinning and I point the finger of judgment at them and say, "You suck!", they are not going to be very receptive and may not grow from that experience! God wants us to love first, guide people to Him, and let Him do the heart changing. Love, lead and have a blessed weekend!
