Don't Imagine We're Off The Hook
President Trump invited Prime Minister Netanyahu to the White House

Don't Imagine We're Off The Hook

As I've been saying for years, Trump is the best leader for Israel and the Jews.

We're seeing evidence of that everywhere we look these days even though he's only been back in the White House for a week.

This guy is a powerhouse of energy.

I love the way he's going about fixing everything in a business-like way, by getting rid of all the nonsense throughout the US, and ridiculous payments to terrorists all over the world so quickly.

But ... and there's a big but here. Let's not imagine for a second that we're off the hook.

Let's not imagine he's going to do all the heavy lifting for us and we can just sit back and chill.

That would be a huge mistake.

We need to keep up the momentum of bringing Jews together to genuinely connect.

We need to rise above our differences to provide an example of social cohesion to the world.

A Perfect Example From Israel Today

This is about two fathers who feel very differently about the hostage deal listening to each other and embracing.

Proof that we can have different opinions, without hating each other.

Mutual Guarantee and Brotherhood: Eli Elbag in Reconciliation Meeting with Rabbi Clemenzon

Rabbi Benny Clemenzon, who educated his son Elhanan on 7/10, reconciled with Eli Elbag, the father of Liri, who was released from captivity. The two met to reconcile after a difficult exchange of words. The two conveyed a common message: "Unity and mutual guarantee are the key to dealing with the challenges we face as a people."

Bringing people together through understanding and unity is crucial. How can we foster genuine connections despite our differences?

I really have tried to stay with you as you have written about how we need to build partnerships and not models of oppression. But your inconsistency has just stretched too far. Whether you love or hate Trump, he is unmistakably operating on a conquest, dominate, fight to win ethical framework. It just happens that he has picked your side. But that undermines the validity of your deeper point and it just loses all credibility. I’m disappointed because you have some interesting perspectives
