Don't Give Up!

Don't Give Up!

It's the end of the week. Perhaps it was a difficult week for you at work. Lost a deal. Rumors of layoffs or a reorg are swirling around. Didn't get the news you were hoping for. Maybe it's not issues at work but things on the home front. You know it's going to be a challenging weekend. A difficult marriage. A health battle. Strained relationship with your children. Financial stress. I want to encourage you: DON'T GIVE UP!

You have talents and gifts the world needs. Those around you depend on you. You have something worthwhile and valuable to contribute. It may not feel like it but you're more valuable than your realize. Sure it's been a rough day, week, or season. But DON'T GIVE UP!

I often run and workout early in the morning. Really early... before it's even light outside. One thing I've learned is that the darkest part of the night and early morning is after the moon has gone in and right before the sun rises. It's always darkest before the dawn. Perhaps your dawn is right around the corner! Perhaps you only need to keep fighting one more month or week or day before things will change. You don't know. DON'T GIVE UP!

It's always darkest before the dawn.

There are times for transitions. Has your season at your current employer come to an end? Is it time to move on from this season of life to the next? Maybe so. Transitions happen. Make sure you end well. How you end this season of life will have a direct impact on how the next season starts. End with integrity. End with your head held high. End doing your very best. END WELL!

How you end this season of life will have a direct impact on how the next season starts.

Regardless of how you feel right now, DON'T GIVE UP!
