Don't Forget The “Wheel Of Wow” Formula!

“Way-outside-the-box” marketing thinker who amazes business owners with stunning “customer attraction” concepts.
When putting together your Marketing Roadmap, remember to always refer to my 5 Step Wheel of Wow Formula.
The 5 Steps are:
1. Who is your most profitable target audience (so you can look for more people who look like him or her!).
2. Create a WOW factor (to take their eyes off the price).
3. Use the problem/solution formula (just like Jenny Craig Weight Loss Clinics!).
4. Fix your website! (So it is a 24/7 sales machine rather than just an information portal).
5. Build repetitive trade (create some form of loyalty program so that your clients keep coming back).
My advice is that you create a “brain tattoo” of this formula for yourself, as it will continue to help keep you on track when it comes to employing direct-response marketing tactics.
So when “a local sporting club sponsorship opportunity” is put in front of you or perhaps the local bus company offers you space on the exterior of their coaches, you can quickly refer to your “brain tattoo” and say, “no thanks”.
If you keep this formula top of mind, you can always quickly interrogate any marketing advertising proposals that come your way and hopefully make the right decisions.
And in my opinion, this 5 Step Formula should be the benchmark for devising your campaigns for any communication channels, offline or online.
And the great thing about putting together just a 3 month calendar is that you can dip your toes in the water of various advertising channels and once you’ve determined the success rate of each, hallelujah – because you can now create a longer Plan with a degree of confidence about the likely returns!
No more spraying bullets, no more wishful thinking – rather a well-planned Marketing Calendar that contains “direct response tactics” across online and offline channels that have already proven to be successful in micro-testing!
Let your competitors continue to “spray bullets”. Let them keep advertising on the side of buses, the back of taxis and wasteful “branding ads” online – and stick to measurable tactics yourself, ones which give you a direct response in a short timeframe.
